Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a visitor enters a name, case number, or other search input in a search tool on this service, the input is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies any result. Callaway County Court Docket does not keep or log those submitted search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
A message sent to us may be retained so that we can respond. We keep such correspondence within our organization and do not disclose it outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, server and service records may collect routine technical details about the visit, including:
- The IP address associated with the device
- The browser and browser version in use
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on those pages
- The referring site, when one is available

No Court-Record Data on File
Callaway County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It provides general information about official record routes. For Callaway County court files, the local custodian is the Callaway County Circuit Clerk within the Missouri Circuit Court, 13th Judicial Circuit. The statewide public index is Missouri Case.net. Nothing collected about visitors is assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person, and this service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes on this service are supplied by outside companies. Information entered into those tools is handled under the provider’s own privacy terms, retention rules, and sharing practices. Those practices are outside our control, so a visitor should review the provider’s policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to clerk pages, court portals, statewide case-search resources, legal-aid organizations, or third-party search tools. Selecting one leaves this service and makes the destination’s privacy policy the governing policy for that visit. Review the destination policy before sending personal information.
Advertising providers may track activity across websites to deliver interest-based advertising. Any such tracking occurs through those providers’ systems, not through a court or the Callaway County Circuit Clerk.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Information can be shared only with the limited categories needed to operate the service or comply with law:
- Search providers that process a query entered through their tool
- Analytics providers used to measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that serve advertising on the service
- Law-enforcement agencies or governmental bodies when a valid legal obligation requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect information collected through the service. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure, however, and we cannot promise that an unauthorized access event will never occur.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If we learn that a minor has provided information to us, we will remove it promptly.
Your Data Rights
You may ask to review information held about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion where applicable, or opt out of certain processing. Missouri does not use the Missouri Sunshine Law as a general private-website privacy statute. Its public-record rules instead concern governmental records. RSMo §610.011 states Missouri’s policy favoring open governmental records, while RSMo §610.023 addresses a public-record custodian’s response duties. Those provisions do not make this private service a government records custodian.

Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy as practices or services change. Any revision will be posted here with an updated effective date. The court-record access rules discussed on this service, including Missouri Court Operating Rule 4 and Court Operating Rule 20, govern official court access separately from this policy.
